Privacy Policy

1. Scope of this notice

This directory does not take payments, register customer accounts, or accept product-generation inputs. It links to individual product sites and the developer API, which have their own privacy notices describing their inputs, payments, accounts, providers, and retention practices. These are Jobbot Inc services, not separate businesses merely because they use different product names. Their product-specific notices apply to those services; the directory's absence of checkout, accounts, and visit tracking does not describe every product. A link from this directory is not permission to use your information for an unrelated purpose.

2. Information received and its purposes

• Website requests expose technical information to our host, such as IP address, browser information, requested path, timestamps, and any referrer your browser sends. This supports page delivery, diagnosing faults, and protecting the site.
• When you submit feedback, we receive your message, selected type, optional reply email, current URL and path, page title, viewport size, browser user agent, and a random feedback-session identifier. We use this to understand and address the report. The current URL can include query parameters and fragments; remove sensitive information from the URL before submitting.
• Email to our contact address includes the sender and recipient, subject, message, headers, and any attachments you send. The support workflow copies message text and relevant metadata into internal issue tracking. Attachment names, types, and sizes may be recorded there; the original attachments remain in the mailbox.
• We also retain communications and records needed to resolve disputes, investigate misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Information about another person may reach us if you include it in a message.

Incoming email is subject to automated filtering using sender details, authentication results, and message content. The system can mark a message read without creating a support issue, or label a message for priority handling. A filtering or filing decision is not a decision on your legal rights and does not remove our duty to handle valid requests.

You can browse without sending feedback. The feedback email field is optional, but without a reply address we may be unable to answer you. Send only information needed for your enquiry. Do not send passwords, payment card data, government identifiers, or unnecessary health, financial, children's, or confidential third-party records through the directory's contact channels. A specialist product's permitted inputs must be checked on that product's own site.

3. Providers, support tools, and disclosures

Vercel hosts the directory and its request handlers. GitHub stores feedback and support issues. Migadu hosts incoming email, including messages and attachments. Authorised people and support tools can access these records to address enquiries. Support review can involve AI-assisted tools; this is separate from the generation features on individual product sites. We do not promise that all support tools or their providers have identical retention or model-training settings.

The provider inventory describes providers used across the portfolio, not a claim that every provider receives each directory visitor's information. A provider may act as a processor for some activities and an independent controller for others under applicable law and its terms. That distinction does not remove Jobbot Inc's responsibilities for its own processing.

The directory does not sell visitor or feedback information or send it to an advertising network for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose relevant information when legally required or permitted to address a security incident, protect rights, or establish or defend a legal claim. This is not unrestricted permission to disclose your data.

4. Browser storage and consent

The feedback widget uses browser session storage under jobbot:feedback-session. It creates or reuses a random identifier when you submit feedback and includes it in that report. This lets us link feedback reports from the same page session. It is not anonymous when connected to a message or reply address that identifies you. Session storage normally lasts for the page session; browser session restoration can preserve it. Clearing that storage removes the local identifier, not reports already submitted.

The directory does not implement the product sites' two-year visit cookie or load a third-party analytics script. Individual product sites have separate storage and attribution behaviour. Calling a technology first-party does not by itself exempt it from consent or other requirements. Requirements depend on its purpose and applicable law, including the conditions of any exemption. This notice is not consent, and browser settings are not a substitute for consent where it is legally required. You can email us instead of using the feedback widget.

5. Legal bases where data protection law applies

For ordinary enquiries, fault investigation, and site security, our purpose is to operate and support the directory; the corresponding basis is our legitimate interest, subject to your rights and the required assessment. Where an enquiry concerns a contract with you or steps you request before a purchase, necessary processing may be based on that contract or those steps. Processing required by law is based on the relevant legal obligation. Where consent is required, that processing requires a valid consent rather than acceptance of this notice. These bases do not provide blanket permission to process sensitive information or to use data for incompatible purposes.

6. Retention and deletion

Feedback issues and contact emails remain stored unless removed. There is no fixed automatic deletion schedule for the directory's support records. Retention decisions need to account for the status of your enquiry, dispute or security needs, and any applicable legal obligation. We do not state a verified uniform retention period for provider request logs. This is not a claim that all records are erased or anonymised when an enquiry closes.

Request deletion at hello@forage.bot. There is no self-service tool that deletes a record from every system and provider. A request requires identifying the relevant records and any lawful retention exception. Closing an issue, marking an email read, clearing browser storage, or removing a public link is not the same as deleting the underlying information. Missing automation does not remove your rights or extend statutory response deadlines.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your personal information; withdraw consent where processing relies on it; and exercise applicable sale, sharing, or sensitive-information opt-out rights. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may use an authorised agent where the law permits. We cannot require you to create an account to make a privacy request.

Email hello@forage.bot with enough context to locate the information. Any identity verification must be proportionate and legally permitted; do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate process. Applicable statutory response deadlines, explanations for refusals, and appeal rights remain in force. You may complain to a supervisory authority or other privacy regulator without first contacting us. Nothing here waives legal remedies or permits unlawful discrimination for exercising a right.

Your right to object

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. We must stop that processing unless a legally permitted exception applies, such as compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests and rights or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. You can object to direct marketing at any time without giving a reason. Send objections to hello@forage.bot.

8. Locations and security

Jobbot Inc is based in the United States. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries. The provider inventory links to their terms; it is not proof that a particular transfer safeguard or residency commitment covers your information. Contact us for details relevant to your use. Any legally required transfer mechanism must be established; visiting this site does not supply transfer consent by itself.

9. Children and changes to this notice

This directory and its contact channels are intended for adults, not for children to submit personal information. Contact us if a child has supplied information so the request can be assessed under the applicable protections. Individual products may serve adults preparing materials for children and describe those inputs separately.

The revision date identifies this notice's wording, not a completed audit of every provider or process. Updating it does not authorise retroactive or incompatible new uses of existing information. Any required additional notice, legal basis, or consent must be addressed before the relevant new processing.
