Refund Policy

At Jobbot Inc. ("Forage Bot," "we," "us," or "our"), we want you to be completely satisfied with our Services. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid subscriptions. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
The short version: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us at hello@forage.bot for a full refund, no questions asked.
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All new subscription purchases (monthly or annual) are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Services for any reason within the first 30 days of your initial subscription purchase, you may request a full refund.
- The 30-day period begins on the date of your first payment (as recorded by Stripe).
- This guarantee applies to first-time subscriptions only, not to subscription renewals, upgrades, downgrades, or reactivations of previously cancelled accounts.
- Refund requests must be submitted within the 30-day window by emailing hello@forage.bot.
- The guarantee does not apply to accounts that have been terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscriptions beyond the initial 30-day guarantee period:
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal date to avoid being charged.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial months of service after the 30-day guarantee period has passed.
- Exceptions: If you experience a significant service outage or material defect that substantially prevents you from using the Services for a period of 48 hours or more, contact us and we will evaluate a refund or service credit on a case-by-case basis.
3. Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions beyond the initial 30-day guarantee period:
- Pro-Rata Refunds: If you cancel an annual subscription after the 30-day guarantee period, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for the remaining unused full months of your subscription term, provided your account is in good standing and not subject to suspension or termination for violation of our Terms.
- Calculation: The refund is calculated as follows: (annual subscription price actually paid, net of any discounts, promotions, or credits applied) divided by 12, multiplied by the number of whole, unused months remaining after the effective cancellation date. Partial months are not refundable and are treated as used. Usage-based charges, add-ons, and one-time fees (if any) are non-refundable.
- Processing: Eligible pro-rata refunds are issued to the original payment method (via Stripe) within 10 business days after we receive and verify the cancellation request from the account owner. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the credit.
- Access Termination: Upon processing a pro-rata refund, your access to the Services (including any deployed *.forage.bot subdomains) will end at the start of the first month being refunded.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Email us at hello@forage.bot with the subject line "Refund Request."
- Include your account email address, the approximate date of the charge, and the reason for your request (optional but helpful for faster processing).
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after approval. We may contact you if additional information is needed to verify your request.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe in U.S. dollars. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. If your original payment was in a currency other than U.S. dollars, the refund amount may differ from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations; we are not responsible for any such differences or for currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds (except where required by applicable law):
- Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) that have already been processed after the 30-day guarantee period. You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal date. For annual plans, pro-rata refunds are limited to those described in Section 3 above.
- Accounts terminated, suspended, or restricted due to violations of our Terms of Service, fraud, abuse, or attempted chargebacks.
- Services where substantial AI processing or deliverables have already been generated and delivered (including completed reports, analyses, content, or other outputs), except within the 30-day guarantee period.
- One-time setup, implementation, customization, data migration, training, consulting, or other professional services once performed.
- Usage-based charges, add-ons, and overage fees beyond included plan limits.
- Third-party fees and pass-through costs (including payment processing fees, bank fees, and currency conversion charges).
- Taxes collected and remitted on your behalf. Any applicable tax refunds will be handled in accordance with local tax law.
Fraud and Abuse Reserve: We reserve the right to withhold, delay, or deny refunds where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the refund process, including patterns of repeated subscription and refund requests.
6. Service Credits
In some cases, instead of a monetary refund, we may offer service credits that can be applied to future billing periods. Service credits are offered at our discretion and typically provided in cases of:
- Temporary service disruptions or outages.
- Feature changes that significantly affect your use case.
- Billing errors or overcharges.
Service credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, may not be combined with other promotions, and expire 12 months after issuance. If your account is terminated or cancelled, any unused service credits will be forfeited.
7. Account and Data After Refund
When a refund is processed under the 30-day money-back guarantee:
- Your subscription will be cancelled and access to paid features (including any deployed *.forage.bot subdomains) will end immediately upon refund approval.
- Your account and data will remain accessible in read-only mode for 30 days after the refund, allowing you to export any data you need.
- After the 30-day retention period, your account data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- You may request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@forage.bot. Certain data may be retained as required by law (e.g., payment records for tax compliance).
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly at hello@forage.bot before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card issuer so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly (typically within 5 business days). If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us, or if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent or abusive, we may immediately suspend access to your account and any deployed *.forage.bot subdomains while the dispute is reviewed. We may submit evidence to the card issuer or payment processor to contest a chargeback, including billing records, subscription and cancellation history, product usage logs, IP address and device information, and our communications with you. You remain responsible for any amounts ultimately determined to be valid and authorized, and, where permitted by law and card network rules, any chargeback fees we incur. Accounts subject to repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may be permanently terminated. Nothing in this section limits your legal rights to dispute unauthorized charges.
9. Taxes and Currency
All refund amounts referenced in this policy are exclusive of taxes. If taxes were collected on your original payment, the applicable tax portion will also be refunded to the extent permitted by local tax law. In some jurisdictions, tax refunds may be processed separately or may take additional time. We are not responsible for any currency conversion fees, exchange rate fluctuations, or bank charges that may apply when a refund is issued to a payment method denominated in a currency other than U.S. dollars.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Refund requests will be evaluated under the policy in effect at the time of the original purchase.
